Our mission

We offer our services for weddings and other events to the greater Houston area and it’s surrounding cities. We pride ourselves on making sure we have the highest quality audio and lighting equipment when we arrive at your wedding or special event. We make sure that we not only sound good but that our setup looks good as well. We offer event planning to make sure your event goes as smooth as possible. Kat, our event planner, will not only help plan the music for your wedding or event but she will also help with ideas and tips that we have experienced from past events. Kat will also go over all of your likes and dislikes to make sure we have a really good idea of what it is you want at your wedding or event. We feel as though every wedding or event is unique. Therefore, we like to treat every customer as though they are our first. From the first moment you talk with Kat you will immediately feel the sincerity she puts into her work and our clients. Her dedication to your needs will continue with emails and/or phone calls to make sure nothing gets overlooked.

Our Technology

One thing we strive hard not to be is complacent. Every year we look for new ways to offer more services at your wedding our event. We are always trying to have the latest in technology as well. We feel that the latest technology will not only establish a better image but also make us more efficient. In the past we used older traditional lighting. Over the years we have upgraded our lighting to intelligent lighting and lasers that display vibrant colors and clear images on the walls and ceilings of even large facilities. We have also incorporated LED intelligent lights as well. With intelligent lights we can set moods not just illuminate the room. The colors and patterns we choose can be displayed on walls over a hundred feet away or used on the 16" mirrorball. Speaking of which, the mirrorball has seemed to disappear from other DJ’s light set ups. Mactrax DJ uses the mirrorball to set the mood for slow dances and help accentuate the room when playing fast songs. There are other DJ's who have intelligent lights but they will charge hundreds and even thousands more than Mactrax DJ to bring them. We bring backups



At each of our weddings or events we bring back ups. If for some reason anything ever went wrong with the computer we bring back up music on iPhones and iPads. With iPhones, if there may be a request or two that we may not have, we can purchase it directly from iTunes on our iPhone. All of your “Special Requests” music (Couple’s First Dance, Father/Daughter Dance, etc.) will be preinstalled on these mobile devices before we arrive to your event to make sure we will have your special songs backed up on the devices.

Bose



After years of research we have finally made the decision to add Bose speakers to our inventory. The sound quality is truly remarkable and its design is beautiful. The only true way to appreciate these speakers is to experience them. Occasionally we still use traditional speakers for things like outdoor events, very large events like proms and whenever we feel like traditional speakers would work best for the event. When we do, we use only name brands like JBL, QSC and Peavy.
